Well my friends it is officially hump day! That day in the middle of the week where the weekend seems so close but yet so far. But although it might not be Friday yet, I have to say I have had some pretty fun couple of days so far. I got to spend time with some of my close girlfriends, eat some yummy food, and even attend some local events here in YEG! And if you want to see first hand what I’ve been doing be sure to follow me on instagram @overmystyledbody if you haven’t already!

Last week on the other hand may not have been so eventful, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t have the opportunity to get dressed up and have a little fun. I picked out this gorgeous midi skirt from online boutique Shabby Apple a couple of weeks ago and it finally arrived last week. Don’t you just love receiving packages? Feels like Christmas all over again! Anyways, it was to amazing not to wear so I decided a night out with my man would be the perfect place to sport my new addition.

Being petite I knew I had to make this length work on my small frame. So I threw on some high heels and decided to cinch in my waist with a wide belt to help give the look some shape. And to keep it from looking to fancy for my night of burgers and fries I decided an acid wash denim vest would give the look a more casual vibe.

How has everyone’s week been going so far??

Happy Hump Day!
