Hello my friends! So I think I owe you all a little explanation of my blogging hiatus last week, but I think I have a pretty good excuse for my absence. If you follow me on instagram or twitter you probably already figured it out but Josh and I took a trip to…Vegas! And a trip it definitely was. I’ll be doing a mini travel series next week on our trip and all the fun outfits I packed so stay tuned!

It was craaazy hot in Vegas with summer definitely still in full swing. But unfortunately, it’s back to reality and by reality I’m talking about fall. Yes, fall (sigh). For some reason this year I am having a super hard time getting into fall mod. I’m not ready to trade in my crop tops for sweaters just yet. So with that being said I’m just going to keep incorporating my summer pieces into some fall.

In my opinion, I think some of the best fall looks come from transitioning your summer pieces into the next season. It creates such a unique look and makes you think outside of the box when you’re putting an outfit together. You can really get creative with it!

I am still obsessed with overalls and instead of going for the typical denim pair, olive tones and different fabrics have been stealing my heart. A definite ‘get in’ for the fall. Instead of going for the typical chunky knit I opted for a crop top! The result; a cool and casual “I’m almost ready for fall, but not just yet” kinda look.

How are you guys feeling about the fall season??
