This week was a little different as Josh was actually off work and was home all week. Although he was off, I on the other hand was not so he had the absolute pleasure of seeing my not so organized work routine. I’ve talked a bit about this before but Josh has always been so supportive of OMSB and this week he helped me out a ton with blog catch up. Ain’t he the best :)
Now it’s time to get ready for the holidays! Can’t believe it’s already this weekend, where did the time go!?
I mentioned in my last peaks of the week that we were off to the mountains for a weekend trip and let me tell you, it was cold AF! Our original plan was to go snowboarding but it was actually so cold that the lifts were shut down, yikes! We ended up seeking refuge in some delicious restaurants, the hot tub, and Josh even took a trip to the spa…lucky guy!
I love giving and receiving gifts and lets be real, who doesn’t!? And one of my girlfriends is no joke THE best when it comes to buying little gifts that I couldn’t help but share all the cuteness she gifted me this year. The pink, the marble, the gold…she knows me too well!
I am well aware at how cheesy this is, but I couldn’t help but throw in the fact that having Josh home this week has been my favourite peak! We’ve been together 10 years and still enjoy spending time together?? WTF…maybe it’s true love!?
After a weekend of carb loading I told Josh all I was craving was a salad and let me tell you he made a delicious salad which I’ve been told was also very easy to make. It’s from Jamie Oliver’s, Everyday Super Food, and the recipe is called Chicken & Garlic Bread Kababs with Blood Orange, Spinach, & Feta…yum!
I’ve received a lot of questions about our wedding and why I haven’t posted anything yet. Well, I had a very good reason and that is because our wedding was featured in Blush Magazine! If you’re local, definitely don’t forget to pick up your copy and see what our wedding was all about ;)
Wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and the best weekend with your loved ones eva!!
