After 11 years of being together Josh and I hit a BIG holiday milestone as we just put up and decorated our first Christmas tree! That might be shocking to some but until now we’ve never actually had a proper tree. But now that we have ours set up I seriously never want to take it down! It adds so much warmth and holiday cheer into our home that my inner Mrs.Clause can’t even handle it.
We are SO lucky to have partnered with Décors Véronneau to help decorate our tree and let me tell you, their website is decoration goals! Based in Montreal, Véronneau specializes in artificial pants, flowers, and decor of all kinds. After 30 years in the business, they’ve become a leader in all things decor and design, with a particular emphasis on artificial plants. And let me tell you, they look like the real thing which is a major bonus if you don’t have a green thumb (like me).
When it comes to innovation Véronneau is constant and is always creating custom products with materials like ghost wood and artificial moss that looks like the real deal! They’re able to create pieces for your home that truly make a statement for all the right reasons. If you head to their website you’ll find décor that can’t be paralleled from vases, wall art, accents, and accessories that will compliment all styles of home décor. So whether it’s a wood frame Christmas tree, lights and ornaments, or even a 6’ green wall, you’ll definitely find the perfect accent for your home! Trust me.
Seeing as this was the first tree I’ve ever decorated on my own, the team at Décors Véronneau was extremely helpful in making my vision of a white Christmas come to life! For the ornaments we decided to mix neutral tones of white, silver, and hints of gold (obvs). I really wanted my tree to have a lot of warmth which made the addition of birch spheres was the perfect touch!
When we first started decorating I had no clue what I was doing or where to start. But one ornament at a time things started coming to life! One thing I learned is that mixing not only different textures but sizes of ornaments really helps you tree come to life. We used a variety of shapes and sizes which I think really helped our tree look full.
